WHAT HAVE BEEN ACCOMPLISHED:
JMEC has been structural engineer for a 1.2 million Galindo Creek Trail gap closure project. More than 1,000-ft of soldier pile timber lagging wall was built. Wall height is ranging from 3-ft to 9-ft, with soldier pile spaced at 8-ft apart. The project also included a tie-back wall, a recycled prefabricated bridge spanning the creek, roadway works and utility relocations.
In the construction phase, JMEC redesigned the wall to accommodate several soldier piles that were fabricated too short.
